Description

Liriope spicata 'Silver Dragon' is a popular and durable evergreen grass-like perennial with narrow, upright, variegated foliage of green and white vertical stripes. Short spikes of pale purple flowers bloom in summer. Silver Dragon Lilyturf is low-maintenance and looks great in mass plantings, mixed borders or for edging. Best in shade with regular to occasional watering.

Plant care

Grows best in partial shade to full shade in moist soil with good drainage. Water regularly after planting until roots are established then reduce frequency. Remove old faded leaves at base for a tidy appearance. Clumps can be divided in early spring every 2 to 3 years.
