    Plant care

Plant Acacia Cousin Itt in a full sun to partly shaded location with well-draining soil. It is winter hardy to 20-25℉ and thrives best in USDA growing zones 9-11.

During the first few weeks after planting, water deeply and consistently to establish a good root system. Once established, gradually decrease the watering frequency as the plant grows and adapts to its new environment.

Feed with a general purpose fertilizer like Gardner & Bloome 4-4-4 Organic All Purpose Fertilizer before the new growth begins in spring.

Cousin Itt’s tidy clumps of flattened foliage need only light pruning.

Acacia cognata ‘Cousin Itt’ ('ACCOG01') PP25133 is a patented cultivar, asexual reproduction is prohibited. The plant patent expires in 2033.
