Once you place an order, you agree to and acknowledge the following terms:
Terms of Service:
Plants Express strives to deliver healthy plants, but cannot guarantee their performance after delivery. Any concerns about the plant's condition must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure proper care and growing conditions. After accepting the plants, we are not responsible for external factors such as pests, trees planted outside recommended growing zones, neglect, poor soil and other conditions that can affect your plant’s ability to flourish.
Many plants naturally enter dormancy from fall to spring. Dormant trees may shed leaves or exhibit discoloration, but this is a normal and healthy part of the growth cycle.
New Customer Welcome Offer:
Offer valid for new email subscribers and their first purchase with Plants Express. Applicable on all first orders (excluding taxes and gift cards). Offer can be used on PlantsExpress.com. Limit one offer per customer for the life of this promotion. Codes are single use on a single order only, cannot be applied to previous orders or be combined with any other offer or discount codes. Void where prohibited.
Cancellations:
You may cancel your order up to 24 hours after your order is placed. Please email sales@plantsexpres.com with your order number in the subject line. Cancellations after 24 hours are subject to a 20% processing fee.
Refunds & Replacements:
Refunds or store credits are considered on a case-by-case basis. Issues must be reported and documented within 24 hours of delivery. We take every step to ensure your plants will be delivered in the appropriate quality for that season. Photos and a description of any issues are requires for consideration. Please email all claims to sales@plantsexpress.com.
Delivery Methods and Timing:
The quality of our product is monitored at every point from order to delivery. In order to ensure our customers receive premium quality, Plants Express delivers everything in sprinter vans and box trucks.
If there is a national holiday, delivery dates might be extended.
Condition of Sale:
After you submit your order and the checkout process is completed, your order is taken from inventory and your credit card is charged immediately. Customers agree that their order will be delivered without requiring a signature. Our driver will leave your plants unsupervised unless other arrangements are made with our customer service team.
What if I was delivered the wrong plant or tree?
On the rare occasion that we deliver the wrong item, we will manage the replacement at our expense. Just contact our customer experience team and send images of the incorrect item(s).
Signature Confirmation at Delivery:
We are unable to replace trees that have been delivered and signed for. If you have any concerns, please make sure you are available to receive the plants at the time of delivery. The day prior to delivery you’ll receive a text message, allowing you to track the order in real time.
Damaged in Transit:
Although infrequent, plants can be damaged in transit. If that does happen, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Please provide your order number and photos of the plants to sales@plantsexpress.com. We’ll review the images and arrange for a replacement when appropriate.
Dormant Trees:
Leaf bearing plants and trees move into dormancy from fall to early spring. You may see fewer leaves, potential discoloration or no leaves at all. Don't worry, this is completely normal. Planting during this time promotes healthy root growth and will help your plants thrive.
Deciduous and Pruned Trees:
Deciduous trees, especially younger ones, may have minimal or no branching. We prune young trees to promote future growth. While your tree might appear small or thin upon arrival, it will grow and fill out over the next season or two.
Growth Rates:
The growth rates listed on our site reflect optimal conditions and can vary. However, each tree grows differently depending on its environment. We cannot guarantee the speed at which your plant will grow, fruit, or flower, as every plant and its surroundings are unique.
Pot Sizes:
The pot sizes listed on our site refer to standard trade gallons, which may differ from conventional measurements. In order to provide the best quality, some plants are pruned or repotted before delivery.
Gift Cards:
E-Gift Cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem at checkout. Please note E-Gift Card purchases are Final Sale. Promotions and discounts don’t apply to a gift card purchase.
Box Trees and Oversized Items:
Trees sold in 24” boxes or 25 gallon containers are oversized (250+ lbs) and require a larger truck with a lift gate. Upon arrival, our delivery drivers will unload box trees within close proximity of the truck and in the safest location possible (either to your driveway or curbside). However, they are not responsible for moving trees beyond that point. Please be prepared with the proper equipment and resources to relocate box trees to their final destination on your property.
*For 24” boxes or 25 gallon deliveries, it is required for someone to be on location for delivery.
