Description

Rosa 'Pope John Paul II' is probably the most stunning white hybrid tea rose available and it is arguably one of the best white flowered shrubs for landscapes. Flowers to five inches across with perfect tea rose form burst into bloom from small buds held singly or in small clusters on nearly thornless stems. Flowers are pure white with a strong citrus fragrance. A profuse and vigorous blooming rose that has dark green, disease-resistant foliage. Hybrid Tea roses have long, sturdy stems topped by a single, large bloom. Excellent for cut flower gardens, single plantings, or in mixed beds.

Plant care

Roses bloom best with a minimum of 6 hours of full sun daily. Provide good drainage and rich, sandy loam for best growth. Water regularly and deeply after planting until roots are established, then reduce frequency. Prune in late winter. In early spring, fertilize just when new growth is emerging and again following each bloom period. Stop fertilizing in late fall until next spring.
