    Description

    This tough, long-lived, low-maintenance cool-season grass (Sesleria caerulea) is often used in mass plantings as groundcovers and fillers. Narrow foliage has a slightly twisted habit exposing both the powdery blue surface and the glossy dark green undersides. In late spring pretty spike-like clusters of purplish black flowers emerge, lightening as they age.
