Description

Agonis flexuosa 'Jervis Bay After Dark' is a smaller tree than the species and has spectacular dark reddish-purple foliage with bright flushes of new growth the color of red wine. Clusters of tiny white flowers appear at the ends of branches from spring into early summer. This evergreen tree tolerates windy and seaside conditions. Moderately drought tolerant along the coast once established but is more lush with occasional deep irrigation. Prune regularly to keep dense shape. After Dark Peppermint Willow makes a nice privacy screen or good container plant.
