Description

Distictis 'Rivers' is a fast-growing evergreen vine with lush glossy green leaves that enhance the long-lasting, trumpet-shaped, gold-throated, lilac to violet colored flowers. These vibrant flowers bloom spring through fall and attract birds and butterflies. Royal Trumpet Vine is a vigorous climber with tendrils that will cling to a fence, arbor or wall.

Plant care

Prefers loamy and moist soils with good drainage. Water regularly after planting until roots are established then reduce frequency as needed. Feed with an all-purpose fertilizer. Use a trellis or arbor to support this climber. Prune annually to maintain desired size.
