Description

This warm season, clumping grass grows vigorously during the warmer months then goes dormant in the winter. The attractive airy, pinkish-red flowers appear above the finely textured, glossy green foliage in late summer and resemble a pink mist or a frothy pink cloud. Stunning when planted in mass and back-lit by the sun. Drought tolerant once established but performs better with supplemental water.

Plant Care

Adaptable to most soil types, as long as it has good drainage. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established. Can be hard-pruned before new foliage emerges in the late winter/early spring.
