Description

Myoporum parvifolium 'Pink' is a low growing, dense and spreading evergreen shrub that is an excellent ground cover, especially on banks and slopes. Not for foot traffic as the brittle stems break easily underfoot. Reddish-green sticky stems are densely clothed with small narrow light green leaves. Small pink summer flowers are followed by dark insignificant berries. Pink Creeping Myoporum is tolerant of drought and seaside conditions.

Plant care

Requires well drained soil. Water regularly after planting until roots are established. Some drought tolerance, but better with occasional to regular irrigation. Prune to control spread or as required. Take care not to walk on stems as they will break underfoot.
