    Description

    Bougainvillea are characterized by vibrant colors on large petal-like bracts that surround the inconspicuous true flowers. Native to tropical South America, Bougainvillea are essentially scrambling shrubs that bloom most vigorously in hot, full sun. They should be planted near a fence, trellis or other structure where it can be trained to grow upwards or allowed to trail off a retaining wall, slope, or container. 'Mary Palmer's Enchantment' has elegant white bracts that stand out against the green glossy foliage.

    Plant care

    Plant in lean, well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established.The roots are very sensitive and care should be taken during planting to not harm them. Will require additional support such as a trellis or arbor to help keep it upright. .
