Description

Elberta' is an extremely vigorous tree with excellent juicy, yellow freestone fruit that is great for eating fresh or canning. Classic, rich peach flavor. Harvest in late summer. Self-fruitful. Requires 600 chill hours.

Plant Care

Prefers to be planted in full sun in well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency should be cut back once established. Fertilize before the flowers emerge and remove dead wood and prune to maintain the desired size. In Spring, thin out the crop to prevent early fruit drop and overbearing.
