    Clusters of lilac-colored flowers held gracefully over lacy foliage make Verbena lilacina ‘De La Mina’ a great accent plant in almost any garden style. The ideal plant for a pollinator garden with blooms from spring to fall. Heralding from Cedros Island in Baja, you can add it to a California native garden with no complaints. It even does well in container gardens. Ideally suited in Mediterranean climates, Verbena ‘De La Mina’ is a perennial that can be grown as an annual in areas that drop below freezing.


    Plant Care

    Grows well in most soil types but best if well-drained. Water regularly after planting until roots are established then reduce frequency. Moderately drought tolerant. To encourage more blooms, remove spent flowers. In spring use a general purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges.
