Description

Large dense rosettes of grey-green or dark green leaves on erect branching stems form a large dense succulent shrub. Leaf margins have soft, upward curving teeth-like structures. Orange-red flowers rise above foliage in winter.

Plant care

Plant in well-draining soil. Can do well in full sun along the coast but further inland, planting in direct sun can cause the leaf tips to burn so provide protection from the afternoon sun or plant in light shade. Drought-tolerant once established.
