Flax lilies are clumping evergreen perennials with grassy, strap-like foliage that vary in color, width, and height. Native to Australia and New Zealand, Dianella are mostly drought tolerant and generally need some degree of shade. Full sun in foggy coastal areas. Tasred Flax Lily has wide, green arching leaves with a reddish hue at the base. In the summer, 'Tasred' produces larger-than-average purple berries.
