Sweet Lavender is an upright fast-growing evergreen with graceful spikes of slightly-scented bright blue-violet blooms held above narrow grey-green foliage. The flowers of Lavandula x heterophylla are not recommended for human consumption. One of the larger lavender species, this is a tough and very reliable bloomer that tolerates heat and humidity.
