    Description

    This perennial Agapanthus hybrid is especially vigorous and hardy with large, deep blue-violet flowers on tall dark stems reaching heights of 3 to 4.5 ft. tall. The 2 ft. tall and wide clumps of rich green foliage blush red in the winter months. 'Storm Cloud' is ideal as a background plant or for large plantings along a wall, fence or driveway.

    Plant Care

    Plant in well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be reduced once established. Remove spent flowers to promote more flowering, and can be cut back to basal foliage after the bloom period. Give it an All-Purpose fertilizer in the Spring. Best left undisturbed but can be divided if the area gets overcrowded.
