Description

‘Soft Caress’ Mahonia is a compact, evergreen shrub with soft feathery green leaves. Brilliant yellow flowers bloom in the fall followed by powdery blue berries. This is a great plant for the bird, bee, and butterfly friendly habitat. With its fabulous texture and size, ‘Soft Caress’ is ideally suited in patio containers, borders, or as an accent plant.

Plant care

Plant in well-draining soil and water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system then reduce frequency. In spring, prune to shape and fertilize with a balanced slow-release fertilizer.
