Description

Sansevierias are beautiful, evergreen tropical succulents that are easy to grow as indoor plants but can be grown outdoors in the mildest frost-free winter climates. Great for patios or beds under a protected eave if the soil is well-draining and kept relatively dry through the winter months. S. trifasciata has wide stiff sword-like dark green leaves with horizontal grey green markings or bands. An excellent 3-4’ vertical accent, this slow growing plant spreads out with underground stems to make a clump of foliage to 2’ wide.

Plant care

Plant in well draining soil in bright indirect light. Water when the soil is nearly bone-dry.
