Description

Paddle Plant Kalanchoe provides a unique touch to your succulent bed, container garden or patio planter. Flat rounded foliage stacks upon itself in an attractive 2’ tall by 3’ wide mound that resembles a pile of clams on the ocean floor. During spring and summer, the leaves are blue-green with red tips. As the days cool and the sun wanes into winter, the foliage turns deep red. While the flowers are insignificant, 3’ tall flower spikes rise above the foliage to add a splash of drama to the garden.

Plant Care

Plant in well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be reduced once established. Protect from the sun in inland, desert areas.
