The attractive reddish bark and clusters of small, pendulous urn-shaped flowers are characteristic of these evergreen California natives. Arctostaphylos 'Pacific Mist' is a low growing, wide spreading shrub with narrow grey-green leaves and sparse white flowers. The upward growing branch tips create a soft, irregular edge to this dependable ground cover. This manzanita is disease-resistant and good for dry shade. Pinch new spring growth to encourage more uniform, compact, dense growth.
