    Description

    Ceanothus 'Joyce Coulter' is a low-spreading, mounding California Lilac hybrid with long, spike-like clusters of sky blue flowers. This fast-growing Ceanothus tolerates heavy pruning, regular irrigation, and heavy soils. Drought tolerant in coastal gardens but best to provide supplemental irrigation during summer in hot, interior gardens. Useful as a groundcover spreading 10-15 ft. wide.

    Plant Care

    Requires soil with good drainage. After planting, water regularly until roots are established then reduce frequency to occasional irrigation. Does not tolerate soggy soil. Prune lightly in late summer to maintain size and shape.
