Description

Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote' is a dwarf lavender with a dense, erect habit and fragrant silvery grey leaves. Masses of densely arranged spikes of deep blue-violet flowers are held high above the foliage from mid to late-summer. A popular lavender used for edging and borders.

Plant care

Plant in lean, slightly-alkaline, well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established. Shear plant about half-way down after flowering to promote reblooming and to keep it bushy.
