    Description

    Carissa macrocarpa 'Green Carpet' is an excellent, low-growing evergreen bushy shrub with small glossy green leaves. Fragrant white star-shaped flowers appear almost year round intermittently. Drought resistant and tolerant of seaside conditions. Green Carpet Natal Plum is a tough, low-maintenance, fast-growing plant that is useful as a groundcover or can be sheared into a low hedge.

    Plant Care

    Requires soil with good drainage. After planting, water regularly until roots are established then reduce irrigation frequency. Fertilize in early spring before new growth begins. Prune to shape after first flower flush in spring.
