Description

Sedum rupestre 'Angelina' (S. reflexum) is an attractive dense, low-growing sedum with brilliant golden yellow foliage. A vigorous evergreen perennial with alternating needle-shaped succulent leaves. Dramatic foliage color for use as a groundcover, in rock gardens or containers. Color is stronger in high light conditions. Clusters of small star-shaped yellow flowers in summer. Drought and heat tolerant.

Plant care

Grows best in nutrient-poor soil with good drainage. Use a cactus potting soil for container plantings. Water deeply after planting then reduce frequency allowing the soil to dry in between waterings. Foliage color is affected by light intensity. Lower light levels will result in stretched stems and greener foliage.
