Ceanothus 'Dark Star' is a medium-sized, evergreen California native shrub with very tiny and very dark green leaves with a quilted, dimpled appearance. Luminous, dark cobalt-blue flower clusters, that are larger than the leaves, bloom profusely in the spring for a breathtaking effect. The burgundy-colored buds add another colorful element to this showstopper.
