Choose the Right Location:

• Soil: Make sure the soil is well-draining. Ceanothus thrives in slightly acidic to neutral soils (pH 6.0-7.0) and prefers sandy or loamy textures. Avoid areas where water tends to pool.

Prepare the Soil:

• Dig a Hole: Make a hole that is twice as wide and as deep as the root ball of your plant. This allows the roots to spread out easily.
• If your soil is heavy clay or very poor, consider mixing in some compost to improve drainage and fertility.

Planting Process:

1. Remove the Plant from Its Container: Gently slide the plant out, being careful not to damage the roots. If the roots are tightly packed, gently loosen them with your fingers.
