Description

Rosa 'Flower Carpet Yellow' is a low-maintenance spreading ground cover rose with bold semi-double yellow flowers with bright yellow stamens. Disease resistant. Groundcover roses spread quickly to cover large areas. Ideal for slopes, rocky areas, or anywhere you want low-growing color with easy maintenance. Flower carpet roses will typically grow into a low, dense and compact bush, growing up to a slightly flattened 3 ft. shrub once established. However, each one is different and growing conditions will also affect the plant's mature size. Yellow Flower Carpet is more upright than the other varieties in the flower carpet series.

Plant care

Roses bloom best with a minimum of 6 hours of full sun daily. Provide good drainage and rich, sandy loam for best growth. Water regularly and deeply after planting until roots are established, then reduce frequency. Prune in late winter. In early spring, fertilize just when new growth is emerging and again following each bloom period. Stop fertilizing in late fall until next spring.
