Description

Camellia sasanqua 'White Doves' (also known as Mine-No-Yuki) is a rounded shrub with a spreading, willowy habit and large, white, semi-double flowers with numerous, loose peony-like petals. A profuse bloomer in the fall this handsome evergreen shrub moderately grows to heights of 6-9 feet tall. Use in containers, or in the garden as an accent, espalier, or informal borders.


Plant Care

Plant in acidic, loamy, well-draining soil in sheltered areas. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established. Mulch will help keep the roots cool. After its flowering period, give it an acid fertilizer.
