Description

Lavender ‘Meerlo' is a vigorous variegated Allard's Lavender with beautiful aromatic, slightly serrated narrow, light grey-green leaves edged in creamy yellow margins. Pale blue flowers bloom in summer. Allardi lavenders are the result of cross breeding between L. dentata and L. latifolia. Lavandula allardii 'Meerlo' is a hardy shrub that can withstand extreme heat, humidity, and drought. Great in borders, containers, or mass plantings.

Plant care

Plant in lean, slightly-alkaline, well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established. Shear plant about half-way down after flowering to promote reblooming and to keep it bushy.
