Description

Big, Bold, and Beautiful is the only way to describe this Hydrangea. Pink Big Leaf Hydrangea is a deciduous flowering shrub, growing 3-6’ tall and wide. Also known as a Mophead Hydrangea for its large, rounded flowers, the pink flowers bloom from late May to mid-August backed by the large, deep green leaves. Soil pH can affect flower color. Hydrangea macrophylla 'Pink' grows best in bright shade with moist soil.

Plant Care

Prefers loamy and moist soil with good drainage. Can do alright in full sun if it has access to ample water otherwise, grow this plant in areas protected from the hot afternoon sun. Pruning in the winter helps keep this plant bushy.
