Description

Flax lilies are clumping evergreen perennials with grassy, strap-like foliage that vary in color, width, and height. Native to Australia and New Zealand, Dianella are low maintenance, mostly drought tolerant, and generally need some degree of shade. Full sun in foggy coastal areas. Little Becca Flax Lily has arched bright green leaves that grow into dense clumps and looks great in mass plantings.

Plant care

Requires soil with good drainage. Water regularly after planting until roots are established then reduce frequency as needed. Prune old flower stalks and leaves for tidy appearance.
