Lilac Crape Myrtle

The  Rose Pink Crape Myrtle is a beautiful flowering shrub with bright and long-lasting, vibrant  rose pink blossoms that appear in summer and hold up well in hot climates. Along with the blossoms, its attractive smooth gray and tan bark that peels away revealing its red inner bark  Rose Pink Crape Myrtle provides year round interest .  Lagerstromia  Rose Pink is a multi-stemmed shrub growing to around 15 to 25 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide at maturity and requires very little maintenance. 

This vigorous shrub does well with humidity and offers a stunning display in the landscape with the vibrant flowers against the glossy dark-green foliage. Lagerstroemia  Rose Pink is a deciduous tree that will drop its leaves in winter depending on temperatures and is useful in the garden as an accent or background tree. The  Rose Pink Crape Myrtle is a low maintenance plant that will add color and beauty to any garden. 

Lagerstroemia is also a deciduous tree, meaning it loses its leaves in the winter. Before shedding their leaves, many crape myrtle varieties display beautiful fall colors, such as orange, red, or yellow. This leaf drop is a natural part of their seasonal cycle as they go dormant in the colder months.    Rose Pink Crape Myrtle is currently only available in bush form.
