Correa 'Dusky Bells', (also known as 'Carmine Bells'), is a hardy, long-lived, evergreen shrub with carmine-pink or dusky-red flowers. The pendant, 1-inch tubular, fuchsia-like flowers bloom late fall through spring and attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Red Australian Fuchsia is a low-growing, mounding plant densely covered with dark green, narrowly oval leaves that partially cover the beautiful flowers as if they were shy. Easy to grow, this Correa performs best in partial shade but will grow in full sun. Tolerant of coastal conditions, frost, and drought once established. Useful as a groundcover, in raised beds, containers, or slopes.
