Westringia Mundi

Westringia fruticosa 'Mundi' is a low-growing, spreading, dense evergreen shrub that reaches up to 2 feet tall and can spread up to 6 feet wide. Selected for its large white flowers that stand out against the large, dark green foliage, Westringia Mundi is a drought-tolerant ground cover that also looks great in containers.

Westringia Mundi is an easy-to-grow, waterwise Australian shrub that thrives in both coastal and arid inland climates, tolerating wind, sea spray, and the wet soils often associated with bioswales. This beautiful ground cover can be pruned into various low-growing shapes or left natural and unpruned while still retaining its tidy form.

A patented cultivar, ‘Mundi’ is also known as Westringia fruticosa ‘NFL25’ or Low Coast Rosemary. Its large white flowers, which resemble those of rosemary but are larger, bloom in spring and sporadically throughout much of the year. While the common name "coast rosemary" refers to the leaf shape's resemblance to Rosmarinus, Westringia leaves are neither edible nor fragrant like those of common rosemary.
